Elcot is home to five adults with learning disabilities, complex needs both emotional and behavioural (autistic spectrum, communication difficulties and mental health issues) and ageing adults.

Elcot has one ground floor bedroom with an en-suite specially equipped with personalised adaptations, as well as four further single bedrooms on the first floor. The first floor also features a communal bathroom and shower room and the house benefits from communal areas on the ground floor, as well as a kitchen, utility room, living room and downstairs bathroom and shower wet room. 

Elcot has a specially adapted vehicle which enables access to the local area and surrounding facilities. Situated in the picturesque town of Marlborough, the house is within walking distance from the town centre, offering a variety of facilities including a sports centre, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, public houses, library and recreational facilities, with access to a regular bus service to Swindon.     

Elcot Staff

The home is staffed 24 hours a day, which includes one staff member sleeping-in at night. The staff group is made up of a registered manager, deputy and support workers. Our care staff are motivated and dedicated to promoting the care and dignity of all our service users, with an emphasis on promoting independence, respect, dignity, privacy and the health and well being of all within our service and the Trust. The utmost care is taken in recruitment, retention and personal development.

In keeping with all Trust homes, the service has a dedicated people carrier for the use of residents. The staff group is made up of a manager (who is also a registered nurse), deputy manager and seven support workers.
