Part Time Driver

Masefield Avenue, Swindon

We require a part-time driver up to 20 hours per week, to undertake driving duties at Masefield Avenue, one of our Residential Nursing Care Homes.  The duties will involve enabling residents to attend community activities such as college, day services and recreation activities.

You will hold a full clean UK driving license and have experience of driving mini buses or similar large vehicles. You also will be required to attend to the vehicle checks and complete all administration associated with the vehicle and attend to small handyman type jobs in between driving activities as time allows.

Support Workers - Full time salary up to 13,775 pa

               SWINDON - MASEFIELD AVENUE

Working within a small friendly home, we will give you all the training you will need to become a valued member of our team. A ‘people’ person, you’ll help our residents with many of the daily tasks that we often take for granted. You’ll need to be over 21, possess good written and oral communications skills and have a full driving licence. You’ll be able to work shift patterns and some overnight cover, for which allowances will be paid, but above all you’ll be the kind of person who has a caring attitude and thrives on challenges.

Registered Nurse RNLD/RGN

Salary up to £22,000 pa                                           Full Time and Part-time

Providing the ‘hands on’ delivery and care to the young adults who live at Masefield Avenue, you’ll relish the challenges and rewards that this role offers.  You’ll need to be highly team orientated and have a sound understanding of people with multiple needs. Registered Home Manager - Swindon

Salary Range £23,500 to £26,000

Following internal promotion, the Trust is seeking to recruit a Registered Home Manager to manage Windermere and Homeground, two small residential Homes located on the outskirts of Swindon.

The Home Manager will have day to day responsibility for all financial and administrative procedures and is required to ensure that the routine operation of services complies with the requirements of the Statutory Authorities. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, other agencies and the public.

With previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, managing and leading a team within a social care setting you will hold an NVQ 4 in Care or equivalent qualification and also hold or be prepared to work to the Registered Home Manager qualification.

Deputy Home Manager - Shalbourne, Hungerford

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager for Dramsdon, located in the beautiful village of Shalbourne close to Hungerford, and approximately 10 miles from Marlborough and Pewsey.

Previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is required along with proven management skills.  You must be able to work flexibly and hold or will be working towards an NVQ level 3 qualification in care.

The position is full time 37 hours per week and sleep-ins will be undertaken on a rota basis. Salary starts from £15,880 (pay review pending) with additional payments for sleep-ins of £27, Sundays and Bank Holidays. 

Annual leave commences at 28 days (includes Bank Holidays) and increases to 35 days with service.  We provide a generous sickness benefit scheme plus a contributory pension scheme.

“White Horse Care Trust comes out on top in Tender Bid”

We are pleased to announce that Swindon Borough Council have selected the Trust to continue to provide the care and support service for 8 adults who live at Bembridge House in Park North, Swindon.  The home is operated in partnership with the Knightstone Housing Association.  The tender was awarded in the face of stiff competition from other quality providers and we are thrilled at the prospect of developing our work at Bembridge House over the coming 7 years of the contract period.
