We are currently recruiting for support workers in the following location:
Holly Lodge, Pewsey
These rewarding positions require carers who are personally committed to supporting our residents to achieve an independance of living and who are able demonstrate a sympathetic understanding of the complex needs of individuals with learning and other disabilities. You will support residents in their daily living needs including their personal care and activities within the community.
Previous experience although beneficial is not essential as full training will be provided. Holding a full driving licence is required, as each Home has its own transport to facilitiate community involvement. You will be required to drive vehicles up to the size of a small minibus.
As support is required on a 24 hours basis, you will need to available to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Although if you have limited availability we can offer a casual contract.

We now have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to undertake administrative duties, together with the co-ordination of maintenance and purchasing activities, in support of the delivery of care to our residents at Holly Lodge in Pewsey.
This varied and interesting role will ensure no two days are the same, from managing the petty cash funds, sourcing and booking resident activities, producing reports, managing and co-ordingating household repairs, through to working closely with the House Keeper on the purchase of provisions.
The suitable applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent computer skills, a working knowledge of excel, have good general office experience and will hold a full UK driving license. If you would like a position that is equally demanding and rewarding and consider yourself to be an individual who can maintain a calm and efficient approach we would like to hear from you.

To maintain continous levels of high quaility care, bank support workers provide the Trust with additional cover for periods of planned and unplanned absences.
Working within your availability, additional support is required for:
Early Shifts: Starting from 7.00am to 8.00am
Late Shifts: Finishing from 8.00pm to 10.00pm
Weekends: All hours
Expereince of working with adults with learning disabilties is an advantage, however, if you have no prior experience you will be provided with a full induction programme and appropriate training.
Bank Support Workers are paid on an hourly basis from £5.75 to £6.61, with additional allowances paid for Saturdays and Sundays.

Nursing Home Manager (Learning Disabilities) - up to £24,500
Providing support and care to 6 young gentleman at Masefield Avenue. There are two key aspects to this very important role, the first is to ensure the appropriate care is delivered to the very highest standard and secondly that the Home is managed, staffed and facilities are in place to ensure that care is delivered consistently and effectively. No small task, you’ll have responsiblity for budgets, liason with other agencies, the implementation of statutory and legal requirements, inspiring and motivating a team and the overall health, well being and care of the residents.
So we’re looking for a very special type of person - you’ll have experience of working with people with learning disabilities, specifically within a community or residential setting and possess excellent, demonstrable staff supervision and management skills. You will be a qualified nurse either RNLD or RGN and hold the RMA management qualification or be willing to undertake this after appointment. It goes without saying that you will be a professional with the highest ethical standards and passionate about the delivery of outstanding care.

Masefield Avenue, Swindon
We require a part-time driver up to 20 hours per week, to undertake driving duties at Masefield Avenue, one of our Residential Nursing Care Homes. The duties will involve enabling residents to attend community activities such as college, day services and recreation activities.
You will hold a full clean UK driving license and have experience of driving mini buses or similar large vehicles. You also will be required to attend to the vehicle checks and complete all administration associated with the vehicle and attend to small handyman type jobs in between driving activities as time allows.

Following internal promotion, the Trust is seeking to recruit a Registered Home Manager to manage Windermere and Homeground, two small residential Homes located on the outskirts of Swindon.
The Home Manager will have day to day responsibility for all financial and administrative procedures and is required to ensure that the routine operation of services complies with the requirements of the Statutory Authorities. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, other agencies and the public.
With previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, managing and leading a team within a social care setting you will hold an NVQ 4 in Care or equivalent qualification and also hold or be prepared to work to the Registered Home Manager qualification.

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager for Dramsdon, located in the beautiful village of Shalbourne close to Hungerford, and approximately 10 miles from Marlborough and Pewsey.
Previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is required along with proven management skills. You must be able to work flexibly and hold or will be working towards an NVQ level 3 qualification in care.
The position is full time 37 hours per week and sleep-ins will be undertaken on a rota basis. Salary starts from £15,880 (pay review pending) with additional payments for sleep-ins of £27, Sundays and Bank Holidays.Â
Annual leave commences at 28 days (includes Bank Holidays) and increases to 35 days with service. We provide a generous sickness benefit scheme plus a contributory pension scheme.

We are pleased to announce that Swindon Borough Council have selected the Trust to continue to provide the care and support service for 8 adults who live at Bembridge House in Park North, Swindon. The home is operated in partnership with the Knightstone Housing Association. The tender was awarded in the face of stiff competition from other quality providers and we are thrilled at the prospect of developing our work at Bembridge House over the coming 7 years of the contract period.
