12A Masefield Avenue (Swindon) is a purpose built bungalow designed to provide nursing care for up to 6 young people with significant learning disability and health needs. All of the rooms are built to the latest National Care Standards, including integrated hoist facilities, and the home includes a snoozelon room to provide relaxation and other sensory benefits. The building is spacious and very comfortable and has been designed to promote a really homely experience for the young folk who will live here. The home has two dedicated vehicles, both of which have been specially adapted to carry wheelchairs. Staff resources are very high given the needs of the residents and include both nurses and support workers. (View map)
