White Horse Care Trust exists to give adults with learning disabilities in Wiltshire a chance of a normal and fullfilling life.
Our Homes
All of the Trust's are different and provide a unique living experience for the people for whom we care. The homes range in size from quite small 2-bedded bungalows through larger 4-5 bedded bungalows and houses and on to our 18 bedded nursing home specifically for adults with a learning disability. All of our properties are registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection and meet the requirements of the National Care Standards; indeed, all of our services exceed the minimum criteria. The homes are located in towns and villages in North East Wiltshire and in Swindon where they are able to make use of the local facilities which are available to the public at large in addition to using specific day services provided by the Local Authority. We take great care to ensure that our residents have the biggest say in the decoration and furnishing of their homes and we operate a programme of planned maintenance and repair so as to ensure that their home environment remains safe and trouble free.
